This cup and mug coaster is a one of a kind item.
Made from only two layers of a 3D woven architecture fiberglass, carbon fiber, and Dynemma fabric. (Most all composite fabric is woven like cloth, only in 2D)
Each layer is 1/4″ thick! Normal carbon fabric is only 0.009″ thick! The Dynemma woven in the thru-thickness direction is there to hold the individual uni-directional fiber tows in place, and guard against delamination. The coaster is infused with high-temp epoxy resin.

Measurements: 4″ square by 1/2″ thick.
Sanded smooth edges with rounded corners. Possible bits of Dynemma fibers around the edges, but not to worry. Dynemma is a Ultra High Molecular Weight Poly Ethylene. Which is a VERY dense plastic, that is used sometimes in the human body. It resists chemicals, and is hydrophilic. It’s not going to come off and get everywhere.
